Camson Bio Technologies has inked an memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Wageningen University, Netherlands, to jointly develop cysgenisis in horticulture crops for qualitative and quantitative improvement. Cysgenisis is known as safe GMO. This arrangement is an exclusive one between Camson and Wageningen University, Netherlands and together they will work to transfer the construct in the selective Indian cultivars / Hybrids developed by Camson.
This is a path breaking collaboration which will help in removing the fear of transgenic from the minds of consumer. Camson is looking forward to a great opportunity in the field where none are present at the moment.
Recently, Camson Bio Technologies had filed four applications on June 14, 2011, under the different categories of bio-pesticidal and bio-weedicidal formulation and a process of preparation thereof with the controller of patents and design.
