Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd.

Buoyed by 39% surge in sales of luxury Jaguar Land Rover vehicles, Tata Motors’ global vehicle sales jumped 6% in June from a year ago period. The company has sold 94,055 units in June, of which 28,215 units were of Jaguar Land Rover vehicles.

Overall passenger cars sales were 46,159 units, registering a jump of 7% from a year earlier while, the company’s commercial vehicle sales rose 6% to 47,896 units.

The company’s domestic sales of Tata commercial and passenger vehicles for June 2012 were 58,270 units against 61,266 units sold in June last year, lower by 5%.
