Bharti Airtel reports 74% fall in Q1 consolidated net profit

Bharti Airtel has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2018.

The company has reported a net loss of Rs 1457.20 crore for the quarter under review as compared to net profit of Rs 280.60 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 14.32% at Rs 12,472.90 crore for Q1FY19 as compared Rs 14,558.10 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported a fall of 73.51% in its net profit at Rs 97.30 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 367.30 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total consolidated income of the company decreased by 8.30% at Rs 20,179.70 crore for Q1FY19 as compared Rs 22,006.70 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
