JSW Energy reports 5% rise in Q1 consolidated net profit

JSW Energy has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2018.

The company has reported a fall of 24.47% in its net profit at Rs 38.95 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 51.57 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 12.33% at Rs 1,388.10 crore for Q1FY19 as compared Rs 1,235.74 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported a rise of 5.47% in its net profit at Rs 229.17 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 217.28 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 4.01% at Rs 2,427.87 crore for Q1FY19 as compared Rs 2,334.16 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
