Date: 31-07-2018Axis Bank has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2018.
The Bank has reported 46.30% fall in its net profit at Rs 701.09 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 1,305.60 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the Bank increased by 11.74% at Rs 15,702.01 crore for Q1FY19 as compared Rs 14,052.30 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
The Bank’s gross NPA for the April-June quarter of the current fiscal increased to 6.52%, as compared to 5.03% in the same quarter of the previous year. Besides, Bank’s Net NPA stood at 3.09% in Q1FY19.
