Coal India has reported provisional coal production of 40.56 million tonnes (MT) in July 2018, as against 36.69 MT reported during corresponding month of previous year. The company’s total off-take for the month of July stood at 48.25 MT, as against 44.29 MT in July 2017.

Coal India is the world’s largest coal mining company. It also produces non-coking coal and coking coal of various grades for diverse applications.
