Power Grid gains on setting up 5 MWp rooftop solar projects across the country

Power Grid Corporation of India is currently trading at Rs. 189.70, up by 1.50 points or 0.80% from its previous closing of Rs. 188.20 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 190.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 190.80 and Rs. 188.55 respectively. So far 58667 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 226.40 on 08-Aug-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 174.25 on 26-Jul-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 190.80 and Rs. 180.15 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 99217.10 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 56.27%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 38.73% and 5.00% respectively.

Power Grid Corporation of India is setting up 5 MWp rooftop solar PV systems at more than 50 premises of the company across the country. Presently, more than 500 kWp solar PV systems are operational at its various establishments.

Another 140 kWp is expected to be commissioned in townships at Sectors 43 and 46, Gurugram in the state of Haryana.
