Dr Reddy’s laboratories has launched Atorvastation Calcium  tablets 10 mg, 20mg, 40 mg and 80 mg  a bioequivalent generic version of LIPITOR  tablets in the US market on July 17, 2012 following the approval by the United State Food & Drug Administration ( USFDA).

The company’s Atorvastation Calcium tablets 10 mg, 20mg, 40 mg and 80 mg are available in bottle count size of 90 and 500.

The LIPITOR brand had US sales of approximately $ 8.07billion for the most recent twelve months ending March 2012 according to IMS Health.
