Tata Motors trades higher on the bourses

Tata Motors is currently trading at Rs. 258.70, up by 3.70 points or 1.45% from its previous closing of Rs. 255.00 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 257.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 260.50 and Rs. 256.00 respectively. So far 364488 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 466.95 on 06-Nov-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 247.55 on 18-Jul-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 263.80 and Rs. 251.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 74796.76 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 36.37%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 36.97% and 12.92% respectively.

Tata Motors is planning to launch 10-12 new products in passenger vehicles segment (PVs) in the next 5 years. The new products, to be developed on two new platforms -- Alpha and Omega, will help the company to have presence in over 90% of the Indian passenger vehicles market.
