L&T gains with construction arm bagging order worth Rs 3,028 crore from GHIAL

Larsen & Toubro is currently trading at Rs. 1273.45, up by 8.55 points or 0.68% from its previous closing of Rs. 1264.90 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1265.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1278.45 and Rs. 1252.00 respectively. So far 51631 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1469.60 on 01-Feb-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1114.55 on 22-Aug-2017.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1308.00 and Rs. 1252.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 178601.91 crore.

The Institutions and Non-Institutions held 57.79% and 42.21% stake respectively, in the company.

Larsen & Toubro’s (L&T) construction arm -- L&T Construction’s Buildings & Factories Business has bagged an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) order worth Rs 3,028 crore from GMR Hyderabad International Airport (GHIAL). The scope of work includes execution and implementation of EPC for expansion of the Terminal Building and Airside Infrastructure Works at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Hyderabad in the state of Telangana.

The expansion will increase the airport’s capacity to handle 34 million passengers per annum (MPPA). L&T had earlier constructed the existing Hyderabad International Airport.
