Grasim Industries reports 25% rise in Q1 consolidated net profit

Grasim Industries has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2018.

The company has reported a rise of 85.07% in its net profit of Rs 642.55 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 347.19 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 60.89% at Rs 4,910.88 crore for Q1FY19 as compared Rs 3,052.34 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported a rise of 25.34% in its net profit of Rs 1,116.07 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 890.45 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 52.28% at Rs 17,089.65 crore for Q1FY19 as compared Rs 11,222.17 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
