Tata Global Beverages has reportedly shifted some of its operations such as global information systems, Human Resources, finance and commercial in different regions including India, the UK and US, Canada and Australia to the managed services of Tata Consultancy Services in Kolkata.

The decision is to free the company’s business managers to concentrate on core activities, bring in agility and spur faster decision-making. The transition process is expected to be completed by the end of 2018-19.

Tata Global Beverages is a global beverage business with a brand presence in over 40 countries. The company has significant interests in tea, coffee and water and is the world’s second largest tea company.
