Coal India Ltd.

Coal India has reported provisional coal production of 38.80 million tonnes (MT) in August 2018, as against 37.59 MT reported during corresponding month of previous year. The company’s total off-take for the month of August stood at 45.22 MT, as against 43.71 MT in August 2017.

Coal India is the world’s largest coal mining company. It also produces non-coking coal and coking coal of various grades for diverse applications.
