JSW Steel planning to increase capacity of manufacturing plant in Karnataka

JSW Steel is planning to increase the capacity of its manufacturing plant in Vijayanagar in the state of Karnataka to 18 million tonne per annum (MTPA) from 13 MTPA. The company is aiming to start the operations in next two years.

JSW Steel is one of the largest steel manufacturing companies in India having units in Karnataka and Maharashtra producing crude steel, long steel and flat steel products.
