KPIT Cummins Infosystems’ board of directors have given their approval to purchase 50% of the equity and preference shares of Systime Global Solutions ('Systime'), a global business solutions provider focused on J D Edwards practice (a product of Oracle Corporation), for a consideration of Rs 103 crore. The company will acquire the remaining 50% of the equity and preference shares over a period of 3 years, at a price which will include a certain fixed and variable consideration.
The company’s board of directors at their meeting held on May 24, 2011, has approved the acquisition proposal.
KPIT Cummins Infosystems, a global IT consulting organization focused on the automotive and semiconductor sectors. The company is present in US, UK, Germany, France, Poland, Japan and India. It provides free technical support for NGOs and small schools in Pune. Top clients include Cummins, HP, Deutsche Bank, Unilever and Renesas.
