Cochin Shipyard has been awarded ‘Rajbhasha Kirti Puraskar’. The award is instituted by the Government of India in recognition of the achievements of the PSU’s and Government departments in implementation of the Official Language. The company stood third among all the PSUs category in ‘C’ region which includes the Southern States and some states of North East.

Cochin Shipyard is the first Greenfield and presently the most modern shipbuilding and ship repair yard in India. The company caters to clients engaged in India’s defence segment and global commercial shipping sector.
