Asian Paints has successfully commenced commercial production of paints and intermediaries at the Mysuru plant in the state of Karnataka. The initial capacity of the said manufacturing facility is 3 lakh KL p.a.

The company had proposed to set up a paint manufacturing plant at Mysuru district, in the state of Karnataka with an ultimate capacity of 6 lakh KL p.a. to be implemented in a phased manner at an approximate cost of Rs 2300 crore at the then prevailing prices.

Asian Paints is engaged in the business of manufacturing, selling and distribution of paints, coatings, products related to home decor, bath fittings and providing of related services. The Company's business segments are Paints and Home Improvement.
