Larsen & Toubro’s (L&T) construction arm -- L&T Construction -- has won orders worth Rs 1,477 crore across two business segments. The Water & Effluent Treatment Business has secured Turnkey orders from the Public Health Engineering Department, Rajasthan for the execution of drinking water supply projects in the Pali, Dungarpur and Banswara districts of Rajasthan.

The scope covers design, engineering a construction of intake structures, water treatment plants, water storage reservoirs, supply and laying of transmission and distribution pipelines, design and construction of village transfer chambers, public stand posts and cattle water troughs with associated electro mechanical and instrumentation works.

Besides, the Buildings & Factories Business has won an order worth Rs 320 crore. This prestigious order has been received from a leading two-wheeler manufacturer for the construction of their manufacturing plant in Andhra Pradesh. The scope involves civil, structural, architectural and other external development works.
