Axis Bank gains on the buzz of entering into partnership with Venture Catalysts

Axis Bank is currently trading at Rs. 604.95, up by 6.25 points or 1.04% from its previous closing of Rs. 598.70 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 600.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 610.40 and Rs. 593.85 respectively. So far 240629 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 676.90 on 10-Sep-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 447.80 on 23-Oct-2017.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 623.95 and Rs. 588.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 156112.29 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 26.23%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 64.95% and 8.83% respectively.

Axis Bank has reportedly entered into partnership with Venture Catalysts (VCAT) in order to offer corporate banking services to start-up firms. The bank will also waive off banking transaction fee for the first two years for start-ups at the bootstrapping stage.

Axis Bank is the third largest private sector bank in India. The bank offers the entire spectrum of services to customer segments covering Large and Mid-Corporates, SME, Agriculture and Retail Businesses.
