Hindustan Unilever (HUL) has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2012.

The company has registered a surge of 112.26% in its net profit at Rs 1331.19 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 627.16 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Moreover, the total income of the company has increased by 16.99% at Rs 6597.38 crore for Q1FY13 as compared Rs 5639.46 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
