FIIs stood as net sellers in equities on May 24, 2011: SEBI

The FIIs on Tuesday were net sellers in equities segment, while they were net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).

In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 1972 crore against gross sell of Rs 2110.20 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 138.10 crore in equities on May 24, 2011.

In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1405.60 crore with gross sales of Rs 419.10 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 986.50 crore in debt on May 24, 2011.
