Ultratech Cement reports 11% fall in Q2 consolidated net profit

Ultratech Cement has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2018.

The company has reported a fall of 9.38% in its net profit of Rs 390.80 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 431.24 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 20.13% at Rs 7,990.56 crore for Q2FY19 as compared Rs 6,651.86 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported a fall of 10.87% in its net profit of Rs 376.82 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 422.77 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 19.53% at Rs 8,371.69 crore for Q2FY19 as compared Rs 7,003.85 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
