Power Grid Corporation Of India Ltd.

Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL) has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2012.

The company has registered a rise of 23.37% in its net profit at Rs 870.11 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 705.29 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. The total income from operation of the company has increased by 27.28% at Rs 2980.27 crore for Q1FY13 as compared Rs 2341.48 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
