Wipro reports 14% fall in Q2 consolidated net profit

Wipro has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2018.

The company has reported a fall of 24.69% in its net profit at Rs 1,607.40 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 2,134.30 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 5.82% at Rs 12,454.70 crore for Q2FY19 as compared Rs 11,769.40 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported a fall of 13.82% in its net profit at Rs 1,889.00 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 2,191.80 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 7.52% at Rs 15,203.20 crore for Q2FY19 as compared Rs 14,139.60 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
