L&T Finance Holdings falls despite reporting 66% rise in Q2 consolidated net profit

L&T Finance Holdings is currently trading at Rs. 118.35, down by 8.25 points or 6.52% from its previous closing of Rs. 126.60 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 114.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 122.25 and Rs. 111.20 respectively. So far 1442124 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 213.05 on 25-Oct-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 111.20 on 25-Oct-2018.

L&T Finance Holdings has reported net profit of Rs 33.69 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2018 as against net loss of Rs 16.69 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company reports over 4-fold jump at Rs 100.02 crore for Q2FY19 as compared Rs 23.78 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported a rise of 66.03% in its net profit at Rs 560.41 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2018 as compared to Rs 337.53 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total consolidated income of the company increased by 27.45% at Rs 3,326.04 crore for Q2FY19 as compared Rs 2,609.65 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
