-12.75 (-0.35%) Automotive major, Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M), has unveiled a new version of its sedan Verito, which is expensive compared to earlier model by Rs 7,000 to Rs 19,000 across different variants. The company has launched new version of Verito in both petrol and diesel options and has priced it between Rs 5.27 lakh and Rs 7.14 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The company will now halt the production of the earlier version pursuant to introducing new Verito. This new version will give competition to rivals like Maruti Suzuki's DZire which is currently available between Rs 4.88 lakh and Rs 7.35 lakh and Toyota Kirloskar Motor's Etios which is sold at Rs 5.14-8.23 lakh.
