Reliance Industries (RIL) is currently trading at Rs. 1122.00, up by 9.70 points or 0.87% from its previous closing of Rs. 1112.30 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1114.70 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1125.10 and Rs. 1114.70 respectively. So far 88191 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1328.75 on 29-Aug-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 861.70 on 18-Dec-2017.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1155.45 and Rs. 1096.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 712545.13 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 47.27%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 36.32% and 16.41% respectively.

RIL's telecom arm -- Reliance Jio Infocomm (Jio) will serve the railways from January 1. The company to slash the national transporter's phone bills by around 35% at least.

Railways has been using Bharati Airtel for over six years as its telecom provider for 1.95 lakh mobile phone connections used by its employees in closed user group (CUG) across the country for which the railways paid around Rs 100 crore bill per year. Its validity will expire on December 31, 2018.
