Adani Enterprises’ wholly owned subsidiary -- Adani Defence and Aerospace and the Israel-based Elbit Systems have launched the Aldani Elbit Unamanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) complex at Hyderabad. The 50,000 sq ft facility would be the first UAV manufacturing facility in India and the first outside Israel to manufacture the Hermes 900 Medium Altitude Long Endurance UAV.

The factory will start operations by the manufacturing the complete carbon composite aero-structures for the Hermes 900 and then for the Hermes 450 which will cater to the global markets and will be ramped up for the assembly and integration of complete UAVs. ?
