Bharat Forge reports 63.92% rise in Q1 net profit

Bharat Forge has reported unaudited results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2011.

The company has posted 63.92% increase in net profit to Rs 97.42 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2011 as compared to Rs 59.43 crore for the same quarter last fiscal. Total income has increased by 36.26% from Rs 640.23 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2010 to Rs 872.39 crore for the quarter under review.

The entity engage in manufacturing of close die and open die forging,crankshafts, front axle beams, steering knuckle, connecting rods, rocker arm and many more components.
