Date: 21-12-2018Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has contributed Rs 1.5 crore towards the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to help the process of rehabilitating the victims of Cyclone Gaja that ravaged parts of Tamil Nadu (TN) last month.
The cyclone had crossed the Tamil Nadu coast on November 16 near Vedaranyam in Nagapattinam district, about 350 km from Chennai, with a speed of up to 120 kmph, that claimed several lives and left a trail of destruction in over 10 districts.
L&T is an Indian multinational engaged in technology, engineering, construction, manufacturing and financial services with over $18 billion in revenue.
