Bharti Airtel has received an approval for sale / transfer of up to around 591.87 million equity shares (32%) of Bharti Infratel (Infratel) owned by the Company, to its wholly-owned subsidiary, Nettle Infrastructure Investments (Nettle) in such tranche(s), at such time(s) and on such terms and conditions, as may be deemed fit. The transfer to Nettle shall be in accordance with all the applicable statutes, rules and regulations.

The Board of Directors of the company in its meeting held on December 20, 2018, approved the same, in order to explore a potential monetization of stake in Infratel in the future.
