47.70 (3.43%) Reliance Industries (RIL) has reportedly raised funds worth Rs 5,500 crore through Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs) on private placement basis. The company raised the capital in December across two tranches of 25,000 partly-paid redeemable NCDs aggregating to Rs 2,500 crore and 30,000 unsecured redeemable NCDs aggregating to Rs 3,000 crore.
Reliance Industries is India’s largest private sector company. The company’s activities span hydrocarbon exploration and production, petroleum refining and marketing, petrochemicals, retail and 4G digital services.
