Coal India Ltd.

Coal India is reportedly planning to put another 25-30 million tonnes (MT) of coal to auction in the ongoing January-March quarter (Q4). The company has been able to secure 54 MT of coal via e-auction till December as against 79 MT in the corresponding period of the last fiscal year, registering fall of 31.65%.

Coal India is the world’s largest coal mining company. It also produces non-coking coal and coking coal of various grades for diverse applications.
