Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.

Apollo Hospitals Enterprise has announced the results for the quarter and year ended March 31, 2011.

The company has reported a surge of 61.27% in its net profit to Rs 47.09 crore for the fourth quarter as compared to Rs 29.20 crore for the same quarter last year. Total income has increased by 28.42% to Rs 627.25 crore for the quarter to from Rs 488.45 crore in the same quarter previous year.

The company has posted a net profit of Rs 181.72 crore for FY11, rose by 19.57% as compared to Rs 151.97 crore in the last year. Total income has increased by 26.60% to Rs 2353.33 crore for the year from Rs 1858.75 crore in last year.

On consolidated basis, the net profit attributable to group at Rs 183.92 crore, up by 33.69% as compared to Rs 137.57 crore for FY10. Its total income has increased by 27.45% to Rs 2624.00 crore for the year under review from Rs 2058.71 crore a period ago.

Apollo Hospitals Enterprise has recommended a dividend of Rs 3.75 per share on the equity capital of the company of Rs 623,553,550 consisting of 124,710,710 equity shares of face value of Rs 5 each for the financial year ended March 31, 2011. The dividend, if declared, will be paid on or before August 05, 2011.
