13.05 (1.23%) Insurance Australia Group (IAG) is reportedly considering selling stake in SBI General Insurance Company, a joint venture between State Bank of India (SBI) and IAG. The group has started early talks to hire an investment bank to manage the sale process. The group holds 26% in the SBI General Insurance.
SBI is the country’s largest lender and it offers a wide range of services in the Personal Banking, Agriculture/ Rural, NRI services, SME and Corporate Banking etc.
