Power Grid Corporation of India has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2018.

The company has reported a rise of 14.23% in its net profit at Rs 2,331.17 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 2,040.83 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 14.20% at Rs 8,890.21 crore for Q3FY19 as compared Rs 7,785.04 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

Power Grid Corporation of India is an Indian state-owned electric utilities company headquartered in Gurgaon, India. Power Grid transmits about 50% of the total power generated in India on its transmission network.
