Physical rubber prices decline further on Monday

Physical rubber prices declined further on Monday thereby resulting in the weak closing of futures market. However, the variations among international and domestic rates sustained over the market.

Spot prices for RSS- 4 variety declined to Rs. 179/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs. 180/ kg, while RSS- 5 variety closed at Rs. 173/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs. 173.50/ kg.

In the futures market, the contract of RSS- 4 August delivery weakened to Rs. 177.54 compared to its previous close of Rs. 179.07, while September delivery closed at Rs. 174.02 compared to its previous close of Rs. 176.27 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange.
