HDFC Bank trades higher on the BSE

HDFC Bank is currently trading at Rs. 2149.20, up by 19.50 points or 0.92% from its previous closing of Rs. 2129.70 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 2131.10 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2149.50 and Rs. 2131.10 respectively. So far 21837 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2219.05 on 18-Jul-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1830.00 on 07-Mar-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 2149.50 and Rs. 2104.95 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 583814.87 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 26.54%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 54.86% and 18.60% respectively.

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has imposed a monetary penalty of Rs 2 million on HDFC Bank for non?compliance with various directions issued by RBI on Know Your Customer (KYC)/Anti?Money  Laundering  (AML)  standards,  more  specifically  those  contained  in  their  circulars  dated  November 29, 2004 and May 22, 2008.

The Bank has since implemented corrective action to strengthen its internal control mechanisms so as to ensure that such incidents do not recur.
