FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per August 8 data: SEBI

The FIIs as per Wednesday’s data were net buyers in equities while they were net sellers in debt segments, according to data released by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).

In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 2454.90 crore against gross sales of Rs 1592.90 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 862.00 crore in equities.

In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 390.00 crore with gross sales of Rs 1206.90 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 816.80 crore in debt.
