Tata Starbucks, a 50:50 joint venture between Tata Global Beverages and Starbucks Coffee of the US, is all set to fully transition itself to use only compostable and recyclable packaging solutions across its stores in the country from next June.

The JV hopes to achieve the objective by the next World Environment Day, June 5.

Tata Global Beverages is a global beverage business with a brand presence in over 40 countries. The company has significant interests in tea, coffee and water and is the world’s second largest tea company.
