TD Power Systems to set up WOS in Japan

TD Power Systems has received an approval for setting up a wholly owned subsidiary (WOS) of the company in Japan. The WOS is expected to commence business operations in the following financial year 2013-2014. The board at its meeting held on August 08, 2012 has approved for the same.

The company has taken this step in order to effectively participate in the emerging opportunities in respect of trading and supply of power generation equipment in Japan, South East Asia and other parts of the world.

TD Power Systems is one of the leading manufacturers of AC Generators with output capacity in the range of 1MW to 52MW for prime movers such as steam turbines, gas turbines, hydro turbines, wind turbines, diesel and gas engines. It focuses on manufacturing custom-designed generators for its customers who are based across the world.
