NTPC’s subsidiary -- Bhartiya Rail Bijlee Company (BRBCL) has commenced commercial operation of Unit number 3 of 250 MW of Nabinagar Thermal Power Project (4 X 250 MW) with effect from February 20, 2019.

With this, the commercial capacity of BRBCL and NTPC group has become 750 MW and 51956 MW respectively.

NTPC is the largest power utility company in India and has presence in Coal, Gas, Solar PV, Hydro and Wind Power Generation and Coal Mining.
