SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.

CA Emerald Investments (Emerald) has acquired 9 crore equity shares of SBI Life Insurance, cumulatively representing 9.0% of the total issued and paid-up equity share capital of the company, as on March 1, 2019.

Separately, BNP Paribas Cardif S.A. (Cardif) has sold around 9.2 crore equity shares of the company, cumulatively representing 9.2% of the total issued and paid-up equity share capital of the company, as on March 1, 2019.

SBI Life Insurance Company is a joint venture between the State Bank of India and the French financial services heavyweight BNP Paribas Cardiff.
