AstraZeneca Pharma India reports net loss of Rs 8.14 crore in Q1

AstraZeneca Pharma India has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2012.

On standalone basis, the company has reported a net loss of Rs 8.14 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2012 against net profit of Rs 16.74 crore for the corresponding period last fiscal. Total income decreased by 28.68% at Rs 99.12 crore during the quarter under review from Rs 138.98 crore in the year-ago period.

AstraZeneca operates through two entities, AstraZeneca Pharma India and AstraZeneca India in the country.
