Apollo Hospitals Enterprise rises on reporting 36% rise in Q1 net profit

Apollo Hospitals Enterprise is currently trading at Rs. 615.05, up by 0.90 points or 0.15% from its previous closing of Rs. 614.15 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 618.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 623.90 and Rs. 613.20 respectively. So far 7321 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 716.90 on 05-Dec-2011 and a 52 week low of Rs. 452.20 on 15-Dec-2011.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 632.95 and Rs. 609.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 8570.11 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 32.77% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 42.04% and 21.30% respectively.  

Apollo Hospitals Enterprise has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2012.

On standalone basis, the company has reported a rise of 36.02% in its net profit at Rs 69.74 crore for the quarter, as compared to Rs 51.27 crore for the same quarter in the previous year.  Total income of the company has increased by 21.03% to Rs 781.46 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs  645.66 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2011.

Apollo Hospitals, is the leading private sector healthcare provider in Asia and owns and manages a network of speciality hospitals and clinics, a chain of Pharmacy retail outlets across the country, and provides Consultancy Services for commissioning and managing the Speciality Hospitals.
