Reliance Capital trades in pink of its health on the bourses

Reliance Capital is currently trading at Rs 343.60, up by 2.65 points or 0.78% from its previous closing of Rs 340.95 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs 344.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs 348.50 and Rs 340.60 respectively. So far 414893 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 481.75 on 22-Feb-2012 and a 52 week low of Rs 225.50 on 02-Jan-2012.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 368.75 and Rs 338.65 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs 8403.10 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 54.14% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 25.77% and 19.99% respectively.

Reliance Capital, on standalone basis, has reported a fall of 94.20% in its net profit at Rs 8.0 crore for the quarter, as compared to Rs 138.0 crore for the same quarter in the previous year.  However, total income of the company remains flat to Rs 719.0 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 719.0 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2011.

Reliance Capital has interests in asset management and mutual funds, life and general insurance, private equity and proprietary investments, stock broking, depository services, distribution of financial products, investment banking, wealth management services, commercial finance, exchanges and other activities in financial services.
