Canada Pension Plan Investment Board has bought 2 crore shares in SBI Life Insurance Company at Rs 577.50 per share on the BSE on March 29, 2019. However, BNP Paribas Cardif has offloaded 5.07 crore shares in the company at Rs 577.93 per share on same day.

SBI Life Insurance Company is a joint venture between the State Bank of India and the French financial services heavyweight BNP Paribas Cardiff.
