L&T moves up with its arm securing orders across various business lines

Larsen & Toubro is currently trading at Rs. 1414.30, up by 1.85 points or 0.13% from its previous closing of Rs. 1412.45 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1414.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1419.00 and Rs. 1404.00 respectively. So far 29411 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1459.10 on 21-Dec-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1183.40 on 23-Oct-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1423.15 and Rs. 1363.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 198233.72 crore.

The Institutions and Non-Institutions held 58.16% and 41.84% stake in the company respectively.

Larsen & Toubro’s (L&T) construction arm -- L&T Construction has bagged several Engineering, Procurement and Construction orders across its various business lines through its Power Transmission and Distribution Business.

In India, orders have been secured to lay underground cable in certain industrial areas and towns to improve the reliability of power supply. Orders have also been won for solar powered irrigation systems.

Orders have been received from certain countries of the Middle East and the ASEAN region for substations and transmission lines.
