NTPC’s Vindhyachal Thermal Power Station has generated record 37,538.97 million units (MUs) in 2018-19. The plant, with an installed capacity of 4,760 MW, was able to surpass its previous best of 37,496 MUs generated in 2017-18 through enhanced operational efficiency.

NTPC is the largest power utility company in India and has presence in Coal, Gas, Solar PV, Hydro and Wind Power Generation and Coal Mining.
