Corporation Bank, Mangalore based lender has donated wheelchairs for use in Mangalore Central railway station, as part of its corporate social responsibility for the benefit of differently-abled passengers. Bank's chairman and managing director Ajai Kumar, handed over these wheelchairs to authorities of Mangalore central railway station at the Independence Day celebrations.
The bank has registered a rise of 5.35% in its net profit at Rs 370.26 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 351.45 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank has increased by 22.60% at Rs 3978.24 crore for Q1FY13 as compared Rs 3244.79 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
